Kurt isnt fooling anyone here. He says it off the bat. This record was with all intents and purposes meant to sound big and polished so they got a more mainstream audience to pay attention and on In Utero, Kurt turned it back because he was absolutely feeling the mix of rock super stardom as he always said he wanted yet simultaneously like a poser at the same time because of his more punk ethos. He can only blame himself and Nirvana but the thing that sucks is he lost the passion for it soon after.

Only thing, though, is they're not "weird" as you suggested. If you ever could meet them in person, as many of their fanbase (including me) have, you would be amazed at what totally normal, "unweird," thoughtful, humble, professional, intelligent, and well-read human beings they are. That's part of the reason this fanbase is so dedicated to defending their honor whenever we think we hear any wrong assumptions. It is because we know a bit about the real people behind the stage personas. Thumbs up! :)

Yeah, I saw those ignorant comments coming from a mile away. This was recorded on a cell phone for fun after Knotfest was canceled due to Covid. These ladies are legit rockstars with over ten years in the business. They aren't some cover band scraping away a living.. They've toured the world and will have 9 studio albums under their belts when their new album drops this summer. They certainly don't need your advice on anything.

I had the JL lennon 45 with her WTF Kiss Kiss Kiss song on the back. First time listening to that 💩 was ata friend's house. Her father was a out to break it until we told him we bought it for the JL side and didn't like YO's side. He scratched it to prevent it from playing and I still think it was not a loss.

Check out Nightwish. They don't do bad songs. Ghost Love Score from wacken 2013 is the most famous song and performance from them. For good reasons. Then the greatest show on earth, or the poet and the pendulum, or Romanticide, or take your pick. Read the lyrics beforehand. And when you really dig this stuff, you should also check out Ayreon from the Dutch composer Arjen Lucassen. He and Tuomas from Nightwish ( and Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree) are the modern days Mozarts and Beethovens. And should be remembered and honoured as such.

For context this video was done during the 2020 pandemic. Since the band couldn't perform live they hosted a series of online concerts for their fans and this was them just messing around before the show and not meant to be taken too seriously. I would highly recommend going to the band's UA-cam page and check out one of their live videos and promise you will not be disappointed.
